How do I play?

Place exactly one crown in every row, every column and every color region. Two crowns may never touch, not even diagonally. Tap a cell once to mark it with an X, twice to place a crown, and a third time to clear it. Drag across empty cells to mark several with an X at once.

Do I ever have to guess?

No. Every puzzle has exactly one solution, and a solver checks that it can be reached by logic alone. If you feel stuck, there is always a deduction waiting on the board.

What is the daily puzzle?

One puzzle per day, the same for everyone. Solve it on consecutive days to build a streak. If you miss a day, you can still open it later from Past puzzles, and solving it counts toward your streak.

Is Lone Crown free? What about the ads?

Yes, it is free and supported by ads: a banner, an occasional full-screen ad between levels, and optional rewarded ads. You can choose to watch a short ad for an extra hint, to open a past daily puzzle, or to play 15 minutes without full-screen ads. Watching is always your choice.

I lost my progress.

Your progress is stored only on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes it, and it does not transfer between devices.
